This official FWC course is designed for USCG captains or for anyone wanting to operate an airboat for hire. (airboat tours, airboat fishing guides, etc.)
The course includes comprehensive classroom and on the water training by a certified instructor. All course materials will be provided.
You have the option of using your own airboat for the on the water portion of the course or you may choose to Rent our Airboat, which is specially designed for training. Contact Us for scheduling and for more information.

Are you curious about airboats? Do you want to know what it would be like to drive an airboat? Are you considering buying an airboat? Feel the thrill and excitement of a 600 horsepower airboat in your complete and total control. Your certified airboat instructor will teach you basic skills on how to safely operate an airboat. Our airboat is uniquely equipped with duel controls and duel throttles for training. You and the instructor will always be in constant communication via wireless Bluetooth headsets. Personal Airboat Lessons

Whether you have owned an airboat for a while or you are new to airboats, let Airboat Training Center of Florida help you hone your skills. These are customized personal one on one lessons with a certified airboat instructor. From basic to advanced skills, we will customize a training plan to build your skills and meet your desired outcome.

FWC Operator Renewal Course
1 Day Course
$349 pp
This official FWC Airboat Operator Renewal Course is designed for USCG captains or for anyone wanting to renew their FWC Airboat Operator Certificate for another five years.
The course includes everything required by FWC for an airboat captain to renew their FWC Airboat Operator Certificate, including required classroom and on the water practical test by a certified instructor. All course materials will be provided.

First Responder Airboat Course
2 Day Course

This course is specifically designed to teach police, sheriff’s department, fire department and search and rescue first responders how to safely operate an airboat. From beginner airboat operators to seasoned professionals, let Airboat Training Center of Florida be your go to source for professional airboat instruction and ongoing training.
